What would you automate first in a team reporting workflow?

I'm trying to get an approved Copilot drafting workflow in place for our weekly reports, and I want to start with one step rather than the whole thing. My shortlist: 1 pulling the raw updates into a consistent format, 2 drafting the summary section, 3 flagging anything that needs human review before it goes out. For those who have done this at work, which step would you automate first, and how did you keep it within company policy?

I'm on ChatGPT and not at a big company, so I can't speak to policy, but I'd start with step 1, the formatting. It's the least risky and you'll see fast whether the output is consistent. The summary drafting is where mine came out sounding like a brochure, so I'd leave that for later once you've got a sample of how your team actually writes.
