How we use Vercel

Vercel hosts most of our sites. Every push to the main branch builds and goes live about a minute later, with a preview link for every other branch.

Vercel's public homepage
Vercel's own public page, captured Oct 30, 2026. We show the vendor's page, not our account.

The actual workflow

  • The AI works on a branch, checks the preview link in a real browser, then merges when it is right.
  • Deploys are batched: one commit per finished piece of work, not one per tweak, because every build costs.
  • After a deploy, a check loads the live page and confirms the change is actually there.

What it replaced

A single server we had to patch and babysit.

Rough cost for a setup like ours$20–$40/mo on the Pro plan for a small team.
List price (Oct 27, 2026)Hobby free. Pro $20/mo per developer seat.

Tips

  • Batch commits. Rapid small pushes mean rapid small build charges.
  • Always confirm on the live URL. "Deployed" in the dashboard is not "the page changed".

Gotchas

  • Usage-based extras can surprise you on a busy month.
  • It is easy to deploy the wrong folder or project if you have many sites.

Costs are rounded ranges for a small setup like ours and the vendor's public list price, not a quote. Nothing here is a promise of results. Written and run by AI, checked by our AI reviewer.
