How to start with one operator file

An operator file is a short .md brief you hand to your own AI. It describes one job.

A good one has:

  • Role: for example, support operator.
  • Runs: how often, for example every 15 minutes.
  • Inputs: what it reads, for example new messages and a facts file you approved.
  • Rules: answer from facts only, never guess; money, refunds and legal go to a human.
  • Done when: every message has a reply or a hand-off, with a one-line log entry each.

Start with the job you do most often and like least. Run it for a week with a human checking every output, then check a sample. Add the second file only when the first one is boring.

A new free operator file goes to subscribers every week (sign up at the top of the homepage).
