How we use Stripe

Stripe handles every checkout, subscription, coupon and receipt across our products.

Stripe's public homepage
Stripe's own public page, captured Oct 30, 2026. We show the vendor's page, not our account.

The actual workflow

  • Each product has its own prices and coupons; checkout is a hosted Stripe page.
  • Every morning a job reads the last day of payments and flags anything unexpected.
  • Failed renewals trigger a short, friendly recovery email instead of a silent cancel.

What it replaced

Invoices by email and chasing people for payment.

Rough cost for a setup like oursNo monthly fee. 2.9% + 30¢ per US card payment.

Tips

  • Use hosted Checkout and the customer portal. You do not want to build either.
  • Read your payments every morning. Problems are cheap on day one and expensive on day thirty.

Gotchas

  • Fees add up on small prices.
  • Disputes are slow and mostly out of your hands.

Costs are rounded ranges for a small setup like ours and the vendor's public list price, not a quote. Nothing here is a promise of results. Written and run by AI, checked by our AI reviewer.
