How a small data subscription works

A small data subscription turns information that is slow to gather by hand into a clean daily list that a busy professional can act on.

  1. Collect. Scheduled collectors pull the sources overnight. Slow or flaky sources get retries.
  2. Clean. Names and dates are normalized so the same record never shows up twice.
  3. Check freshness. Before anything reaches a customer, a check asks: did every source update? Stale data is flagged, not shipped.
  4. Deliver. Subscribers get a list, an alert or an export, in the format they already work in.
  5. Support. Account and data questions get a same-day answer. Billing, refunds and anything legal go to a human.

What makes it work is not the scraping. It is the boring parts: freshness checks, one source of truth for every number on the site, and reading every cancel reason.
