How we use ElevenLabs
Some links on this page pay us a commission if you sign up, at no extra cost to you. We only list tools we run every day.
ElevenLabs is the voice. It narrates our videos and speaks on our AI phone lines, so a script becomes audio without a microphone or a booth.

The actual workflow
- Approved scripts are voiced through the API, then checked for clipping and loudness before editing.
- The AI phone line uses an ElevenLabs voice agent that answers, takes a message and texts a summary.
- A small watcher checks the plan renewal date so credits never run out mid-week.
What it replaced
Recording narration by hand, and a human answering every call.
Rough cost for a setup like ours$22–$99/mo, depending on how much audio we make that month.
List price (Oct 27, 2026)Free tier. Starter $6/mo, Creator $22/mo, Pro $99/mo.
Tips
- Lock the script before you voice it. Every retake costs the same credits as the first take.
- Pick one voice per brand and keep it. Consistency is what makes it sound like a channel, not a robot.
Gotchas
- Credits go fast on long scripts.
- Voice agents need testing with real calls. Silence, accents and background noise trip them up.
